Eden Project

The Eden Project is an amazing place. We have visited it over the years, from the days before the site was announced, through the construction phase, when, as Friends of the project they finally opened the gates and allowed you to look down from the visitor centre into the old pit, and the early days of the opening year or two, and finally, on the last Saturday of February 2009 when I took these images, and many others.

The vibrant colours reflected in the windows, and shining through them, at the entrance to the biomes makes for a different view.

These two shots were taken inside the tropical biome. You could hear bird song in their, our own native robin.

The Core is a different sort of building, to the right of the biomes, and contains a very different set of experiences, both visual and some tactile and physically involving.
