These lovely orchids are found mostly in Kent these days, with a few plants in Oxfordshire. Once again, in 2007 I nearly missed them, as most had gone over by the end of May, but a few good spikes were left at Yocklett's Bank in Kent, where these pictures were taken. Talk in the wood, on the day I was there was of someone who had been trying to steal some of the plants, can you believe it?! In this day and age?
