This extremely rare diver turned up on Carnsew Basin at Hayle, down here in Cornwall in late November 2009 (this is the third year running one of these birds has been seen in Cornwall i believe.) whilst I was away from home, but fortunately it stuck around and I was able to get the shots above in poor light. If it sticks around hopefully I'll get some better shots. So, from never having seen a Diver, to 2 species in a week. Excellent.
