The pied wagtail can be found in many different habitats, from city streets to wild grassland, as here, down at Aust Warth, whilst waiting for a Short Eared Owl that never showed. The two pictures below are of the sub-species alba known as the white wagtail, taken at RNAS Culdrose in autumn 2009.
