It's one of those funny things, taking pictures of the commoner butterflies. You leave it for ages, and then it takes for ever to get them! A bit like magpies and carrion crows in the bird arena. However, on a recent trip to Sussex, in the lanes around Hassocks, I came across this individual feeding on bramble in bright sunshine beside the road.
