The stonechats above are part of a population that uses the scrub behind the beach at Par, often venturing onto the debris on the tideline to pick up a regular supply of insects which live there.

These slightly ragged and worn stonechats were busy feeding young in early May 2009 in the gorse and scrub above Kynance Cove in Cornwall
