The Sword-leaved helleborine (also known as Narrow-leaved) is one of our most distinctive orchids, that has declined markedly over the last 200 years. It is still widespread, and can be found from Hampshire to Scotland, and in Ireland. The best place to see them in the south is at the hampshire Wildlife trust reserve at Chappett's Copse, in the later part of May.
