These whitethroat shots were taken at Treskilling Downs in May 2011 on a dull, grey afternoon. This bush proved popular with the birds, I also shot yellowhammer, chiffchaff and greenfinch in it.

The Chiffchaffs were taken in the Manoa Valley outside St Austell in early January 2011, and feeding on insects on the tideline at Par Beach in December 2010.

These shots of the rare and elusive yellow browed warbler were taken from the old Barclay Hide (now demolished to make way for a canoe trail!!?) at Slimbridge in December 2006, a great early Christmas present.
